Out Collection

In this collection, a few essential materials meet and confront each other. I explore their hardness, fragility, ductility. But also their aesthetic strength: their materiality, elegance, lightness.

Silent ingredients that give life to objects suspended between past and present, between memory and contemporary gesture.

Black slate from the Fontanabuona Valley — split-cut, with the natural vein exposed and finished with wax — is the stone that best tells the story of our Liguria.

Corten iron, rough and resistant, was created for ship hulls. We Ligurians use it sparingly, but it represents us: essential, authentic, never emphatic.

Concrete, left raw or shaped, is our way of giving shape to primitive material.

And finally the ferramin , the iron wire: simple and ductile, always a resource for fixing. I bend it, I weave it, I push it towards expressive outcomes that surprise even me.
